Kelvin Medina

Mr. Kelvin O. Medina is currently an Information Security Engineer (ISE) at the University of Miami (UM). There he serves as an internal consultant for the whole IT enterprise compromised of more than 25k users, 700 plus applications, and over 700k credit card transactions per year.

Previous to UM, Mr. Medina worked as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Department of Navy, lately conducting mission assurance assessments with a focus cyber security across diferents Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.

Mr. Medina received his Master of Science in Technical Management from Johns Hopkins University – Whiting School of Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, from the University of Puerto Rico where he graduated magna cum laude. He is also an alumnus of the Global Pre-MBA Leadership Program from Yale University. Mr. Medina is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+ CE, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
