Transforming the Fan Experience and How the Game is Played
A panel of sports industry experts that are transforming the fan experience and how the game is played. The event will be held at St. Thomas University in Miami with another expected sell out crowd including some of South Florida’s Sports Technology Leaders.
Tery Howard, Chief Technology Officer, Miami Dolphins
As the CTO, Howard is responsible for managing and directing the technology initiatives and strategic direction of business operations at the Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium. Her primary focus includes infrastructure, telecommunications, business systems and broadcast media, converging the technologies and services to position Sun Life Stadium and the Miami Dolphins at the forefront of the industry.
After successfully deploying FanVision at Sun Life Stadium for the Miami Dolphins, Howard was tapped by owner Stephen Ross in 2010 to lead the company’s deployment, distribution and activation of FanVision to twelve NFL and two NCAA stadiums. Howard also oversaw the expansion of the program at Sun Life Stadium to 25,000 devices, the largest deployment of any stadium.
Alex Buznego, Manager, Digital & Social Media, Miami Marlins
Alex Buznego, 30, leads the Digital Marketing strategies for the Miami Marlins and Marlins Park, responsible for developing strategies for the web, social, mobile, email, big data, loyalty and digital advertising.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and University of Miami, Alex serves at a board level with Roots of Hope and Family Counseling Services. Alex is also currently a member of Class VII of the Miami Foundation’s Miami Fellows program. Alex is also the founder of #ipledge305, a Miami-focused giving campaign that leverages the power of social media.
