The Development of the Internet of Things is progressing at a breakneck pace. Industry luminary Fred Yentz, CEO of Telit IOT Platforms, with more than 20 years industry experience in the technology solution market will discuss his perspective on the state of the IOT industry. Having launched solutions across a broad set of markets from transportation, and factory automation, and telecommunications to building management he will discuss the issues with today’s current IOT marketplace. As an added benefit, Jason Hallstrom, Ph.D., Director of the Institute for Sensing and Embedded Network Systems at FAU (ISENSE@FAU) will discuss how the academic community is educating and supporting solution providers and implementers with research and training of students for the exploding marketplace.
