AAJ TECHNOLOGIES: Enterprise Cloud Architect

Herve Roggero is a Windows Azure MVP, co-author of PRO SQL Azure and PRO SQL Server 2012 Practices, and is the Enterprise Cloud Architect with AAJ Technologies. Herve holds multiple certifications  including an MCDBA, MCSE, and MCSD. Herve also earned an MBA from Indiana University.




Monty Blight
PEAK 10: Vice President, Product Management

Monty has been with Peak 10 since 2001, serving in a variety of roles including Business Development, Partner Alliances and Managed Services.  In his current position, he is responsible for product development and messaging across the entire suite of offerings – colocation, cloud and managed services.  Monty works directly with clients and partners to help design solutions and he is also a frequent presenter and panelist on Cloud, Hosting, Business Continuity/DR, and other technology services.

Prior to Peak 10, Monty worked in various technology services positions including Internet streaming with Yahoo!, distance learning for Primedia and software simulated banker training for Omega Performance.

Monty received his BBA from Baylor University in Texas and is a graduate of the Charlotte Leadership Forum.

Diether Lintz,
IBM: Worldwide Cloud Computing GTM Leader

Diether Lintz is Worldwide Geography Go to Market Leader for IBM Cloud Computing, a member of the IBM Corporate Strategy team at the company’s headquarters. In this role, he serves as the focal/execution point for corporate resources and IBM’s field/geography leadership across the world, to establish Cloud strategies and go to market, define roles and responsibilities, develop and execute Cloud sales enablement plans, assess and drive key Cloud opportunities, and Cloud Roadmap work with client teams to generate and structure Cloud business.

Diether’s professional profile balances three main topics: Management of Technology, Sales Management, and International Business. He has accumulated significant experience in the selective application of technology to maximize business impact, leveraging strong relationships with IT and Line of Business executives. He has led and delivered many projects in that area during over 25 years in the field

Diether has held sales and marketing management positions at international companies in his native country, Chile, before moving to the USA as Latin America Sales Director for Lotus Development Corp. He then joined IBM’s Software Group when the Lotus acquisition took place.

Before joining the Corporate Strategy team, Diether has been part of IBM’s worldwide SOA Sales team where he focused on the development and deployment of IBM’s sales engagement model (Unified Sales Process, USP), client-facing project acceleration methods, and various customer engagements.

Diether holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Catholic University of Chile and a M.Sc. in Management of Technology from the University of Miami. He is fluent in four languages and is active in adventure sports.

Monica Martinez
Verizon Terramark: Product Manager, Cloud Products

Monica is a Sr. Product Manager for the Enterprise Cloud and Cloud Express at Verizon Terremark. Monica has previously led global product launches in the IT industry for IBM software, servers, network and storage products and managed the lifecycle and channel distribution. Ms. Martinez holds an MBA in Marketing from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami.


Martin Pichardo
Microsoft: Windows Azure Solution Specialist

Martin is a Principal Technology Specialist with Microsoft focusing on Windows Azure Solutions. He has a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, emerging trends and related technology including Windows Azure, Amazon EC2 and VMWare.

Martin also displays in-depth knowledge and experience in large scale, multi-tier, enterprise architectures, DW and BI. 

Jeffrey Slapp
