The Life Science and Technology HUB, a grassroots networking group based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., was founded by Denise Garcia and Michael Gregson in 2011.  The second annual LST HUB Holiday Event takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13 at the Waterway Cafe located on 2300 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Holiday appetizers and a complimentary beverage will be served at the Holiday Event.  Attendees are requested to wear holiday attire and bring two new or gently used (preferably educational) books for pre-school to 8th grade students.  All books will be donated to the Literary Coalition of Palm Beach.

The LST HUB, was created in response to the need for a relaxed networking atmosphere where professionals and students in the life science community and technology community could meet, network and combine resources.  Garcia and Gregson were inspired by the California organization, Connect.org, and aspired to create what is quickly becoming a similar organization in Florida.  2012 Local sponsors and partners include:
