Each year The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship at FAU runs a first class business plan competition open to both students and the community. As part of the program, they run workshops, provide mentoring and generally guide competitors through the process of developing, refining and presenting their business plans. Not only do the contestants get a chance to present to real investors, entrepreneurs and business leaders, there are prizes worth a total of over $200,000. Anyone interested in starting a business in South Florida should seriously consider entering this competition.
The key dates are:
Deadline to submit an Intent to Compete – Feb 17
Deadline to submit a Business Plan – Mar 17
Event and Presentations – April 11 & 12
