Title Director of Service Delivery

The Director of Service Delivery (DSD) is a market level executive position, focusing on the consistent and timely execution of service delivery, for the local customer base. The Director of Service Delivery – Market is expected to oversee the market level engineering resources, as they follow processes and procedures, used to deliver contracted Peak 10 services. The DSD will be the local market presence, accountable to customers for all things service related.

Responsibilities

  • Lead local engineering resources in delivering uncompromising customer support
  • Execute on the Corporate Service Delivery and Support strategy at the market level
  • Promote the company wide NPS program and maintain an ‘audit ready’ facility
  • Provide ongoing managerial support and coaching for local engineering resources
  • Assure the timely and accurate delivery of Peak 10 products and services sold by the market
  • Work with the local Vice President/General Manager, Sales Engineers and sales staff, during the sales process, in setting proper customer expectations in the deployment of technical solutions
  • Monitor and report, to both Market and Corporate Personnel, specific market level KPI’s
  • Proactively provide an executive technical presence for Peak 10 in the local technology community
  • Continually train the local team on Peak 10 products, services and operational guidelines
  • Document local process as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering and over 8 years experience in hosting, IT services, and professional services environments
  • Previous management of engineering type resources (Support Staff, System Administrators, Project Managers, etc.)
  • Familiar with ITIL v3 Framework for IT Service Delivery
  • Broad based experience in multiple technology environments including:
  • Microsoft Server Technologies (IIS, SQL, Exchange, etc.)
  • VMWare and/or other virtualization technologies
  • Linux (or other *nix platforms)
  • Networking and network security administration
  • Excellent people and proactive communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines

Qualifications

  • Experience with data warehouses, ETL processes and Pentaho tools
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with shell scripting, Linux preferred
  • MySQL server and query performance experience
  • Familiarity with MYISAM and INNODB storage engines

 Other desirable skills/knowledge to have

  • Experience with Kanban/Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with predictive analytic tools
  • Distributed computing technologies, Hadoop preferred
  • Production experience with MongoDB

  • Maintenance of clear and accurate accounting records
  • Implementation and adherence to internal cost controls and operational process improvements to reduce business costs
  • Identify strategic opportunities to maximize Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) and operating cash flow
  • Management of vendor finance relationships and contract terms
  • Accountable for cross-functional vendor related issue resolution
  • Active participation and eventual chair position on 3Ci’s Vendor Business Action Team
  • Preparation and presentation of recurring cost reports, analyses, business analytics, and dashboards (budget to actual, month to month, etc.) 
  • Assistance with monthly financial statement close process and adherence to expedited closing schedules 
  • Form 1099 and W9 management
  • External audit and tax compliance support
  • Development of Staff Accountant’s accounts payable skill set

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of public accounting or private industry accounts payable experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting and/or finance
  • ERP or general ledger experience preferred
  • Extensive analytical, reporting, and project/process management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Microsoft Excel)
  • CPA license or equivalent preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and focused on work quality
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Strong leadership experience managing people
  • Passion and accountability for maximizing financial results of the business
  • Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations
