Amjad Shamim, CEO of AAJ Technologies Named Chairman of the AeA Florida Council Executive Committee.
Orlando, Fl (10/19/2007) - AeA, the nation’s largest high-tech trade association, announced today that Amjad Shamim, CEO of AAJ Technologies and Matrix Document Sciences, will serve as Chairman of the AeA Florida Council Executive Committee. AAJ Technologies is a leading provider of IT solutions and custom software products, and Matrix Document Sciences is a premier provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) services.
As part of this new role, Mr. Shamim will also have a seat on AeA’s National Board of Directors, which includes high-tech executives from companies including Adobe, Citrix, Intel, HP, Intuit, TI, DRS, Cisco, and other industry icons.
“Amjad’s depth of experience will be an incredible asset to the Florida Council’s Executive Committee,” said AeA Florida Council Executive Director, Maryann Fiala. “We are honored that Amjad has committed to a leadership role in AeA’s Florida Council.”

As the Chair of the Committee, I look forward to propelling the organization to the forefront of legislative and economic issues impacting technology companies in the state of Florida,” added Shamim.
Mr. Shamim has held key technology and management positions in the software development and information systems / e-commerce industries, as well as in the government sector. He also has experience in the Merger and Acquisition process and has conducted technical evaluations for prospective acquisitions.
